Default GNCC Raptors out there?

I am looking for opinions from all the Raptor racers in GNCC. How wide is too wide? What width A-Arms do you feel are best and what offset wheels? I currently run stock a-arms and +2/+3 ITP wheels to give me an extra 2 inches of width total from stock. Do you think that going with +2 A-Arms and stock offset rims (total 4 inches wider) would be too much? Thanks for the input!

I think that the stock front wheel is 2/3 which wont give you any width to the front, however I may wrong. I have ran in the past houser +3 and I can assure you that this set-up will be a wrist breaker. I now run +1 and I am looking to get a race wheel with a 4/1 offset and this should bring me back to stock 47in max. I'm still not sure about you front wheel question but the stock wheel is outside 2in and inside 3in so I may be wrong about your setup, all depends on if the first # is outside or inside.

Good Luck

I have considered the width thing myself. Stock the raptor is 43 inches wide. With your 2/3 rims that puts you at 47. If you look at Bill Ballance or William Yokley, they are running 46 inches wide I believe. However, they are on 250r s that sit lower than a raptor. Stock front raptor wheels are 10x5.5 inches with offset 4 inches in and 1.5 out. Ideally, if you get plus 2 a arms put your stock front wheels back on. You would be 47 inches wide. A durablue 2+2 axle with all the spacers on the inside of the rim and the rims inverted gets you to 47 in the rear.
Cheapest way to a good width would be to get 3in/2out front rims(gets you to 45inches) and get som 10 inch rear rims with an offset that will gain two more inches. Get some zps front shocks and convert your rear stock shock to zps. You are good to race, way faster than stock. Alot of woods riders don't use zps but in the case of the raptor you have to drop that 33.9 inch seat height to at least 31 inches so you don't have to fight it so hard.
