Here is a pic of My Raptor with Elkas.
If it looks like it's squatting in the *** end your right.
The rear is 3" lower than stock but the front is only 1/2" lower because I ordered the fronts set up for +2 a arms & I don't have them yet.

 

I just got an email from Elka,
They're sending me new shock covers for all 3 shocks to replace the bad fitting fronts & the Outerwears rear!!
That's Good customer service from The Quad Shop & Elka!!

 

My covers fit perfectly.

It does'nt look 3" lower or does it sit lower as you ride it. I'm not real sure how ssd works but that's my understanding is that the sag self adjusts as you ride. Can you adjust the ride height much? Can you raise your ride height up any from the 3"? How do they ride?

It wouldn't tell me much yet since I haven't got my +2 a arms yet so it'll be real stiff in the front.

It's 3" lower without me on it, I measured before & after.

I think they sent covers for the sportsman shocks that are not as thick around, Elkas is sending me new covers & hopfully they'll fit better.

 

I got my new shock covers from Elka.
The fronts they sent me originally fit bad & the rear was an Outerwears instead of an Elka cover.
I got the originals off & took some pics of my Elkas nekkid!! LOL!!

They're soooo purdy it's a shame to put the covers on them, but they're too expensive to expose to the sand!!
It was too damn cold to put the new ones on today, I'll get to it later this week.

why did you go with the remote resivoir instead of the piggyback??

 

The front piggy backs are only availible with compression adj which I didn't need & the rears don't come with piggy backs.

I'd have got remotes any way because they keep cooler since their not attached to the shock body.
That way the heat from the shock body isn't directly transfered to the rezzie.
