Will I be happy with a fourstroke?

Spefically a Raptor?
I currently have a 660 Grizz, which I love for trail riding, But I need some more grunt. My buddy just recently bought an 03 KX125. Its never seen dirt, he studded it up, and we were riding it on the ice... I would get her wound up, and just start wheeling away. The power is amazing, although its almost hard to controll. Gotta keep it in the sweet spot of the power band.
How does the Raptor compare to the 2 stroke grunt? I realize it won't be as snappy, but with the motor being nearly 5 times as big, It should satisfy my needs, right? Does the torque of the 4stroke make up for the 2-strokes snappyness? I just don't want to buy a quad, and be unhappy with it. I sure wish they still made 250R's.

RIDE ONE. you wont believe it! i didnt. acts like a four stroke down low, but revs out like a 2 stroke, as if ya needed it....its similar to the Griz eng, but has dual carbs, diff exhaust, and prob a diff cam profile i would imagine.
put a good pipie on it and it WILL be as snappy. you'll be surprised. it's a wheelie machine, and at almost 400 lbs without you on it, thats power!

if you cant find one to ride and are headed west, look me up.. you can ride mine.
