Default RAPTOR SWINGARM INSERTS

My swingarm skidplate managed to pull both the threaded inserts out of the front holes on my swingarm and now the front of the skid plate just hangs loose the swingarm looks to thin to just tap for a bigger bolt so i was wondering if anyone had any ideas for me.

I have the exact same problem....do ya think a helicoil will hold in the thin alum ? Also, the insert hole is all wallowed out and will not be useable with a different diameter hole in the swingarm....

Tom8801, did you fix yours this way and has it been working well ?

I've seen inserts that will fix them,
You drill the right size hole put an insert in & there is a tool that crimps it in.
It's a steel insert & there may not be enough room to use a heli coil.

I found some inserts called knurled rivet nuts in the mcmaster-carr catalog that look like they will work so I think I'll order them and try that
