You know I posted this by mistake, but hell I've gotten alot of great responses. LOL. My question was concerning What compression piston, type of piston, and what Cam I should upgrade my 03 raptor to. I am getting head work done for free, so I figured while they are in there without charging labor I should take advantage of an upgrade. ?11:1 or 12:1? HotCam stage1, or stage 2? I want to maintain or increase my low end torque and grunt Also should I go ahead and change out the valve springs? What would be best for all around power gains? Have stage 2 dynoJet kit, pro-design K&N without lid, full DMC Alien header and silencer, and 11 tooth on front sprocket. At Dynojet here in Las Vegas the bike Dynoed at 43HP. I mostly Dune ride at Dumont, CA. Thank You

10.75/1 je = premium pump gas and keep an eye on the spark plug (some people have had rod failures at this compression....I bet detonation is the culprit)
12/1 = race fuel
stage 1 = stock springs ok (guarantee they will wear out faster though).
stage 2 = stiffer springs required (this will place additional stress on the valvetrain + will suck up a tad of power)
I done the 10.75/1 je and the stage 1 cam....strong combo with better power everywhere. Say goodbye too stalling.
