The Dura-blue lowering kits are Plate-type devices that relocate the upper shock position higher, thereby lowering the machine which dramatically improves cornering by lowering the center of gravity without changing the ride quality! But if you are jmping i wouldn't reccomended them at all.

Just widen it. Your gonna be spending hella money on your quad eventually anyways...might as well spend it now! I'm really happy I widened it and not lowered it, I'd rather have the ground clearance and suspension.

I just got a full Elka system, and it lowered it by about 3" in front (also widening it), and the back by about 2". It's got about 1-2" more travel in the front and maybe 1/2-1" in the rear. It also lowered my checkbook by ~1500.00, but it kicks a**.

Front and rear lowering kits are only for ice and TT type racing. Your suspension won't work well with them and you can't jump. The only way to go is shocks with S.S.D. which I hear will lower it an inch or two but be prepared to lay out some $$ and have a stiffer ride. Also you can have the same effect as the durablue rear lowering kit by reversing the linkage on the rear shock and its free.
