Default k&N or unifilter

i need to get a new filter, and i was wondering what everyone recomends. i am buying the pro dsign intake system with the clamp on filters, but i dont know wether to get K&N or uni. any help is appreciated, and thx in advance.

I am running UNI stage II clamps from rocky moutain atv , they are foam and really cheap $11.99 each![img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-shocked.gif[/img]

hey mini I would recomend the uni or any other quality foam element...although the K&N does allow for better air flow it does this by using a guaze style filter which allows larger particles to pass into your motor....unless you need to squeeze every bit out of it I would go with the durability and protection of the uni, try a no-toil

i got the uni. it works great. and if it gets muddy or oily, just take it off and clean it with water and dawn dish soap. cant do that with a k&n

ok, i always liked k and n, but rock mountain doesn't have a pro design kit for the shee with the k and n. i hope the performance is about the same. also i liked haveing the outerwear, i'm gonna miss having it

if you cant get a outerwear to fir it, then put part of a nylon over it. soudns dumb but it works pretty damn good

really?? i can buy one and it will fit. that would be awsome, and if it doesn't fit then i'll do what you say and at least cover it with most of the outerwear. thx man
