Raptor Jetting questions

I got rid of my raptor in favor of a Banshee. Unfortunaltly my friend still owns one. I had a jetting nightmare with mine, now it seems I have taken his on. The bike has an HMF full pipe, the HY-Tech indiviual clamp on filter setup, and a jet kit. The bike seems to stumble really bad off idle. When riding the bike, if you get to the top of a hill and let off the throttle, it dies instantly. I am looking for a base line to start my jetting. On my Raptor I had the air fuel screws at 2.5 turns out, but I had an air box, this bike does not. Where should I start at. He said the bike has 185-190 mains in it now, that seems high to me (where at sea level or close to it). Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If his idle speed is not high enough it will die as soon as you let off. What is his pilot jet size, when was the last time the carbs were cleaned? Is the choke hanging up a little a little, mine was and it was dieing when I let off the throttle after a hard run. The main jets sound a little high, how much compression is he running. I am at sea level and running 175 & 180 on the mains. LOL

I running 150/155 mains, 25 pilots and 3 turns out both carbs, Im under 3,000 ft. sea level in warm climate S.Fla. with snorkle trimed and K&N filter and adapter with a Yosh full exhaust and its runs great. I originally put 155/160 mains put didnt fell any hard pulling in 5th past 3/4 throttle now it pulls through all the throttle positions with the 150/155, but thats just for my setup hope it gives you some baseline ideas.
