Better and faster?? What have you been smoking?? I know from experience, I started on a Raptor, its quality is nothing compared to that of a DS, nor is its speed. IMO

I think ds and the raptor have the same speed. I have ridden a ds a little but never a raptor. The DS suspension seems amazing. Raptor is smaller and lighter. DS is mostly for dunes and raptor is an all around quad.

I have ridden a DS, and then hopped on my Raptor afterwards. From what I can tell the Raptor is a better trail machine, and has a lot more torque. The DS has a boat like ride. I would get pinned between trees (bad enough on a raptor), and kill myself on jumps if I did my kinda riding with a DS. I like DS's, but they are not for me. I wouldn't trade my rappy for anything. But I can say I have had my *** handed to me by some beefy *** DS's.... Hope you understand Baja? We all have our preferences....The DS just doesn't seem apealing to me. If I wanted a boat, I would have gone to the local boat dealer....

Me or my brother can tell you which is faster stock, he owns a DS and I obviously own a Raptor. Its not worth the time, as its not worth trying to figure out. There has never been to more equal quads out the door than these two as far as drags go, stock on stock.

Oh, what the hell. Stock out of the box, the Raptor will be slightly ahead after 300' sand drags, dirt drags. The DS does not hook up as quick and the rev limiter kills its excelleration.

Get rid of the rev limiter and they are about even or the DS will be slightly ahead. Get some decent tires on the DS and it will be a quad or so ahead. But then again we are not talking about a stock quad anymore are we.

P.S. The Z's are nice quads and i wouldn't mind owning one, even with the knowledge there are Z owners like the one who started this thread.

well i was gonna pass this post up, but you started on faster blasters, and that p*sses me off. i always had a modded smaller quad(blaster), and i kept to myself not to mess with the bigger quads. now i have a bigger quad, and i leave the littler ones alone. i think you should try and keep your mouth shut b4 you get really embaracced!! there are alot of quads on this forum that will easily smoke your little piece of sh*t even if it has 63hp. and no one in here cares how long you have worked on cars, or engines. if your so big and bad go to fsw and get spanked!!!!!!!!! If you can't go and give everyone a run then keep your mouth shut.

ps. no offense to the Z, they are nice quads also
