Kodiak Question
#1
Does anyone have problem with there yamaha when its cold? Could it be a jetting problem. When we go out on our bikes its always my that take for ever to warm up. My old 93 Kodiak had the jets change an it only need the choke for about a minute. If it is a jetting problem does anyone have jets to recommend.

I have a '00 Kodiak. I have not had any problems in cold weather with it warming up. However, when it's extremely cold, it's common sense to leave the choke set halfway and let run for a short while to warm before getting on your way. Living here in Wisconsin, winter temps can get down there below 0 degrees routinely. I have left it outside, covered full of snow, and temp at -15f and it started without a hiccup. At that temp, you just have to let warm up before riding.

i've had a 2000 kodiak and a 2002 and i never had problems with them when it's cold. however my banshee starts better than my 03 black wolverine does. if it's your jetting it would probably sputter like it's loading up or something i'm not sure what jet you would need though. sorry man

No problems in the cold here either. When its below 30 outside I usually will have to choke mine halfway for about a minute or two then its good to go. Sounds like your carb may be running a little lean.
