I live in Colorado where we have all kinds of terrain. My Raptor excels at everything it does from trail, to sand, to mx. Ive yet to see something a 4x4 can do that i cant on my rappy. No regrets!

My friend has a prairie 650, while it is the best 4x4 avaiable, I would not trade my Rappy for that small framed jeep. I go through crap in 2 wheel drive those guys are having trouble getting through in 4 wheel drive. Here is one way to look at it, you will be so far ahead of them on the trail who cares if your gonna get stuck, you can unstuck your self ad still be ahead of them. Get the Raptor!!!!!!!

I have a raptor and grizzly. I ride the raptor 99.5% of the time. Now that I think about it, I only ride the grizzly when im out of gas. But then I might syphon gas out of the grizzly for the raptor. I ride with all types of 4 wheelers. I havent been on a ride yet to where i couldnt go where the 4X4s go. Go with the Raptor, then everyone else that has the 4X4s will want one too. Guaranteed!

I have a Blue '01, one of the first in New Orleans, I'm over 220 and it hauls my a$$ fast enough! I have had zero problems with the Raptor. I really have a great time riding it at the dunes at Dunes Inc. in Alexandria, La. as well as the great trails that are here in the South. I also have a great '88 250R. I am proud to own two of the finest sport quads ever built.

Bama250R

'01 Raptor - original gears (Fingers Crossed!)
GYT-R Carbon Fiber Pipe
GYT-R Lightning Bolt Graphics/Seat
GYT-R Alum Skids (Belly, Swingarm and A-Arm)
GYT-R Alum. Bumper
GYT-R Carbon Fiber Headlight Guards
GYT-R Shock Covers
ITP XC Holeshots on +2 .190 Alum. Rims
Dyna-Jet Jetting
FMF "909" Bars
UFO XC Handguards

'88 Honda 250R - set-up for XC (My "Keeper")
'00 Kodiak 4x4 - stock (except 25" Bear Claws and UFO XC Handguards)
'88 Kawasaki Mojave 250 - Running Great. (great "loan to friends" quad)
