Razor..that's the problem with your interpretation as well as others about the bikes that win the big events. You won't get that performance from a "normal" stock bore/686/727, whatever it was. That motor probably cost more than most people are willing to pay. Keep in mind..the people who build these bikes, such as trinity, sparks etc..OWN their own shops. They have 100% free r&d, heavily discounted parts for themselves etc. So a motor that..let's say cost them $3000 to build, would cost the average joe almost double that if not more. Im not putting any motor builder down, Im just saying...dont expect to have a bike that runs like that when you call up asking for a 686/727 etc.

 

And the wait and turn-around time are HOW LONG? TOO long I think!!!!! I believe RaptorRcR is right on the money on that one!!

if you want a motor from either one its going to take $ and TIME....
why do you think they are so bussy and far behind.
you get what you pay for.
You ever see the piston in the 465kit that SPARKS uses they are a thing of beauty they are custom je pistons to his spec's, they are trick, just like the kind of pistons in a 6sec. drag car-----no over bore size, one size, one sleeve, each time the Piston is 200$ the Sleeve 100$ ...
our 465 has most of SPARKS parts not all and we did the work it is fastttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttt
but $$$$
if you have a bugget ,cant work on motor and want it back fast try someone else

 

Razor..so what you're telling me is there's ONE place that makes fast raptors? As for why they are so busy and so far behind? If they had more than a handful of people that worked there..they might have a faster turnaround. But, I understand why they run such a small crew..they want things done right.
