Foam or K&N

Foam or K&N
I put a K&N with Outerwears on my Kodiak before going out to Utah this last summer. The machine performed flawlessly all the way up to and slightly beyond the 11950ft elevation in the mountains with out me re-jetting the carb. Now, I'm not implying that this is the ticket for every machine out there, but I had no problems. Heck, I was even hauling a full load of camping gear to boot. Whether you chose foam or paper, either will be an improvement over the stock air filter.

Foam or K&N
come on people. UNI all the way. you dont have to use an airbox, you can still put an outerwear around it if you like, and you can wash it! lets say your cruisin through the trails, and all of a sudden you hit the biggest mud puddle. your K&N is ruined. then you got to spend another $20+ on a filter and outerwear. when the UNI is is about $10 in the first place. and you can wash it. go with the UNI.
