Alljuice- I had one on the 2001 for 3 weeks. It was a lot of money but that was where i was at. It helped me out on the top-end on the drag strip. It will help more if you run Alky. I ordered me a new one for the 2003 today. I would say it was good for 1.5 HP.

alljuice -

I just got a Dyna ignition box for my raptor this past week. I also added a Pingry airbox and upped the mains at the same time. IT RIPS! I can't say which change was responsible for the extra power, but there is a huge increase. I would say it is as big of a difference as going from the stock pipe to the Yosh pipe/remove lid combo.

You can feel a difference switching between the 4 curves also. One curve is stock. The other 3 actually make my quad much louder and change the acceleration characteristics. Before, when I drop the clutch in 2nd gear on a dirt road it would bog down. Now it roosts! I am going to a dyno in the next couple of weeks to get my jetting adjusted perfectly. I will try to post the results. Here are my current settings -

175/180 mikuni mains
25 pilots
stock needles on 3rd clip (middle)
fuel screw ~ 2.5 turns out (this changes slightly with the different advance curves)
Pro-Flow foam filter
PPD aluminum airbox/battery box
Yosh Full Stainless pipe

Good Luck, www.pro-flo.com sells it for $370, most others sell it for $410

Are you referring to the new plasma ignition offered by alba sports?

Don't worry alljuice. This isn't a banshee story.

I told you all it is one kick a$$ ignition. Wait until you start making your own curves. This is where it shines. I also said pro-flo was the cheapest.

Does anybody thank the guy with the banshee? No, you just tell him not to post his thoughts. If I put raptor plastic on my banshee could I be in your "raptor clique".

Shane, what is your compression, fuel, and estimated rpm range?

Shane, your engine will differ from a built raptor. What compression, fuel, and estimated RPM range will you engine be using? Also, what is the weight of you and your bike? With this info we can pick a good starting curve for you.

14mins, I noticed the dyna program will let you go up to 75 degrees advance! Nothing will lighten a piston like a hole in the center. They limit a banshee to 27 degrees.
