Here is the website we went to for the helmet cam helmetcamera.com. I believe it will pop up with a few different choices. The warranty on these are not good. They only give you about 90 days because when we called they said most people buying these are trying dare devil stunts or something along those lines. So the warranty did not cover a whole lot. They mainly said wants you take it out of the box the warranty is gone.

Hi Mark,

check this one out - Hi res cam looks great for only $50.

I ordered one, should be here in a couple of days. I'll need to build some kind of dust proof housing for it (I'm thinking of just using silicone inside of a small container) and I'll just Velcro it to the visor.

I've got a mini DV cam and although 420 lines is a little short of DV specs, it's the highest I'm gonna find in a small camera.

Regards, Steve

There are some differences between all the ones listed. The one that I have has a rechargeable 8 hour battery to power camera & mic?

Also, the camera mount is important too. The one that I have has a plastic lens to protect the camera lens.

Some of the features are very similar. HelmetCamera.com is based out of Kentucky and if you call them and place an order you will most likely have it in two days. They have execellent customer service.

I investigated trying to find a helmet cam to review but it seems most of these companies don't realize the value of over a 1/4 million people reading about their products. If you guys talk to these companies please mention I'm looking to review one.
