Default Raptor Jetting help

I have a 02 Raptor. With Pro flow filter kit no lid & carved up like swiss cheese, and a full Yoshi set up. After I got it all on. I set out to jet it. I did just like the Yoshi instructions said. But it would bog really bad on low end. Nothing I changed would help. Except if I covered a few of the holes on my air box. Then I would have to lower the main jets.

It seemed like it did not have enough vacume to activate the diaphrams. Does that make sense? Would weaker springs help?

Any ideas???

TIA!

GYTR jet kit
160/165 mains
needle 3rd groove
2 1/4 left 2 1/2 right mix. screws
25 pilot
no lid

check float level
choke
boots to carbs.
make sure your slides are moving freely and check and make sure the diaphrams did'nt get damaged and are sitting in the carb. correctly.
would'nt hurt to check your valves while your in the area if it has'nt been done lately.

Is your lid or box carved up?

If you got the same instructions with your Yosh pipe that I got with mine, it is WRONG!!

Mine said to turn the screws "OUT ONE TURN". Mine wouldn't even start!!

Where are you on your air/fuel screws??

Default Raptor Jetting help

I just took the lid off of mine yesterday and rejetted to 148/150 dj whereas before i was at 146/148 with screws 3 turns out. I didnt notice any backfiring prior to taking the lid off but i removed the spark arrestor also from my yoshi and it backfires or more of a sputtering when i let off after full throttle. Is this normal??
