Default 2003 Banshee Or Raptor?

Ok, I typed this whole dang thing once and it then went to server could not be found.....so here goes again.

I have T5 pipes, coolhead with 18cc domes, pro design impeller, carb mount K&N's with outerwears, tors removed, stock gearing, and I run 20x10x10 9 paddle extreme haulers.

I think that about covers it. I run belray gear saver in the trans, and yamalube 2R for premix. I also have the toomey needles and it is jetted at a 290 main I think.

I think about the only other bolt on type mod would be an advance key, and some reeds.

I am thinking about getting the cheetah cylinders and debating whether to go for the stroker, or just the cylinders. Not sure yet.

I think that about does it. It runs very strong. I am at about 6400 ft elevation where I live and sand mtn utah is about 4500 ft I think. I get about 145 cranking pressure here and about 160-165 in utah. Runs great on pump gas, probably right on the border line for needing race fuel down in utah.

Later
Bat

I like my raptor but, for the $$$$ A Banshee with a set of Pipes and a proflow properly jetted is more fun for the buck. The guys are right you'll spend at least a grand getting a raptor to keep up with a piped banshee. Good luck on you'r choice Both ways are a good choice No matter how well your Raptor may run its always nice to get that 2 stroke feelin every now and then!!!!

Default 2003 Banshee Or Raptor?

Hey, im also getting a banshee soon, but ive seen it in a limited edition yellow/black and i think it looks great, but is there anywhere i can get it from because apparentley they are very hard to get hold of or could i get a blue one and buy the yellow/black plastics seperate? what should i do to break in a banshee? i have a 100cc RAM (you prob havnt heard of it as its a british built bike) i ran it at half throttle for about 1 tanks worth, should i do the same with a shee? thanks in advance
