Bought my first quad after my buddy decided to get into quads. So I bought a '01 Raptor. Now I'm into them more than he is. And not to deny my kids got my 5yr. old a 2001 50cc Scrambler and my 1yr old a 6v powerwheels. I'm thinking about putting in a 12v motor and battery in about a year for him. Got to out run any neighbor kids. lol
Now I bought a old a$$ kawi 110 three whellin death trap. POS but hella fun for wheelis and smokin out mosquitos.

My first ride was a '80 model ATC 70, then a '81 ATC 110, then a '83 ATC 200, then a '86 ATC 350X, and an '85 LT 250R, and a '85 ATC 250R, then a '92 LT 250r, and a '86 TRX 250R, and then another '92 LT 250R, and finally a '01 Raptor........whew man, ATV's are more addictive than drugs, aren't they! I'm now an old 32 year old man and between myself and the kids we still have a garage full.....5 quads to be exact.
It's funny to read some of these forums and see how everyone complains about lack of power, handling, suspension, etc.....back then when I was a kid on the ATC 70 I couldn't have been happier.....guess we're all getting a little spoiled!

A brand new 1973 Honda XL 70. Turn signals and all. Very first release of the clutch resulted in the bike jumping out from under me, denting that beautiful metal gas tank. I was about 8 years old.

my first ride was a old vespa scooter that we rode in the dirt but my first true dirt bike was a 1976 honda 250 elsinore that i bought brand new for 1200.00 .i guess the year of that bike gives away my age oh well time flies .that 250 was the hottest thing going at the time and would outrun all of my buddies bikes boy how times have changed.starting out on dirt bikes gives me a real appreciation for just how much easier quads are to ride which is a good thing but boy i wish they had been around when i started riding i would have a lot less scar tissue.
