I have 2002 blaster and wanted to get a toomey b-1 pipe kit ,the kit also comes wit a high flow air filter and a 310 main jet.I wanted to know if that is the right size jet or if i need some other kind of jet to go along with the main jet.So anybody out therre who did this mod please let me know if i need aything else for it.

man i thot the 310 was way too big, but folllow the instructions, and move the needle as well. they rec you leave the airbox lid off now ...it works better than those 12 little holes.. iy surely runs better than it did! a dramatic difference! you may need to adjust a little.just watch the plug. i havent had any probs with the 310 and have heard of only a couple folks who had to change from that.

Just wanted to say that the B-1 kit is a really good kit. Toomey's are prolly the best pipe kit out there. They give really good results at mid and top end and some low end when u need it.

i have another ? how loud is the toomey, i dont want it to b to loud or else the cherry tops will b comin round the mountain.

 

its pretty loud i have no idea what your db rating is or what it is but i do know rap8 uses his toomey blaster in orgeon and once he got a spark arrestor thing on it they had no problem it is pretty loud its louder then my dads duncan racing paul turner shee thing sounds a lot like a 250r pretty kewl if i were you id email toomey himself go to there website click the email button and you can ask him any question you want and responds queckly and well a great guy you won't be dissapointed with the great custumer service over at toomey racing

i dont know the numbers, but it sounds cool, and i am not a noise fan!

contact stuart (owner) at toomeyracing.com and he can tell ya. it does have a cool 'ping-ping' perf sound that the stocker lacks, my guess would be about 95 db, i'll be close....
and its gonna run SO much better! youll love it! let me know!

Mine has been sound checked at 94 db with fresh packing in it....The main jet works good but i dropped mine down to a 300..it took a long time for me to get it right,at first i fouled 2 plugs in 2 days with the 310 but i ripped the filter lid off and it ran a lot better...i run a filterskin on mine and run a napkin taped to the outside of the airbox.....

 

How much better does it run with the 300 in it and is there another jet that u have to replace
