Default ATV Sport does Raptor wrong

To tell you the Truth = I love my power of my Raptor and the RIDE of the Z. My Z isnt too far behind my Raptor but like I said in the past; If I can take the motor out of the Raptor and put it in my Z, I think it will be the best riding quad ever.

But thats my opinion.

I own a Raptor and a Z as well and I will put it to you like this. My wife rides a Z and I ride a Raptor!
If I thought a Z was a better quad then I would be riding a Z, if I thought that the Predator was a beter quad I would be riding a Predator... you get the idea. Right now I'm on a Raptor and I don't see that changing anytime soon... especially since I could buy 2 1/2 quads for what I have in the Rappy now!!!!

the Raptor is tippy and does have a high center of gravity. Dont get pissed at the mags for pointing that out. Blame Yamaha..

Well if you do not know how to ride any ATV will be tippy!!!!!

You just have to get used to what ever you ride and go from there.

If you add the aftermarket A-Arms and extended rear axle all atv's are cured, provided you know how to ride.

All I did was change tires and wheels and the handling has improved greatly. But I think Ernie is right about knowing how to ride!!!!!

I'll say it again,

"THESE SHOOTOUTS ARE **NOT** MEANT FOR THOSE OF US WHO **ALREADY OWN** OUR FAVORITE QUADS, THEY ARE FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES AND INTENDED FOR POTENTIAL BUYERS."

Therefore, it is important for the magazines to point out both the Good and the Bad asspects of each quad being tested, reguardless of who agrees or disagrees with their assesment.

Have fun, be safe.

RPM sure we could take your stance and just accept the mags results, but what would the fun be in that? LOL

I like to drop into these rooms every now and again to see some whinning and complainig, and sure add a few remarks of my own.. I would even bet the reason you posted at the bottom of this thread is because you read down through it laughing at half the remarks.

So I say let em have it... who? it dont mater anybody... why? because its FUN!!!!

DSapp you are not quoting the article correctly, if you are talking about the Dirt Wheels article that also includes a C'dale. It never says that the raptor is not in the same class as a z400. They also said that the shocks too soft for "racing" applications compared to the C'dales and predators shocks. Actually I have always liked my shocks on the soft side. If it doesn't bottom every now and then it's too stiff. If we are reading the same article maybe you should re-read it.
