Default JETTING QUESTIONS FOR A RAPTOR

Hey I have a question for all of you, I have the lid off and a K&N filter in at 1000ft or less elevation. I drilled some holesinto my exhaust baffle all the way down in ( I have all stock exhaust) I took the screen off the arrestor and drilled 3 holes in the arrestor where the holes are. I had my jets at 142/144 and I never got any tan on my arrestor, it was like white. I put in 144/146 and I got a little tan on the arm of the spark plug after a bout 1 hour of riding. I put a brand new plug in before I took it out. I am planning on getting a job soon and Yoshimura full exhaust. Also getting a used top left a-arm because I bent my ball and bearing bolt. I have a stage 2 DJ kit. Also I put the needles in my carbs that came with the kit, should I have done this? The ones that it comes with are skinnier than the stock ones so that would give it more gas. The clip is at the 4th position from the top and the screws are at 3.
