Decompression Pin ??
#1
When I took my cam out i didn't pay to much attention to how it was connected to the cam gear and I am not familiar with the decompression pin... Does the pin suppose to be out when the cam gear isn't in motion ? and when u crank it up and the cam gear is then spinning and the inirtiea causes the spring loaded arms to open the pin is suppose to recess flush into the hole ? Am I correct on this ? If not could someone please explain, Thank You...

Yes, you are correct. There is a dot on the lever that slides into the cam, it should be in the 12 oclock position in relation to the top of the head. The pin will be sticking out when installed. Once motor turns over fast enough the weights spread apart spinning the lever a 1/4 turn or so and the pin recesses back into the groove of the lever becoming flush with the cam until the motor stops. At which time the lever turns 1/4 a turn the other way and pushes the pin out again.
