This may sound like a stupid question. I have been doing a lot of first gear wheelies lately. Does that wear on first gear a lot? I don't want to mess anything up by doing these wheelies. Could it cause problems in the tranny?

 

i do alot of wheelies and it wont hurt the tranny. i've had to replace the clutch once but other than that.......nothing. later

 

I doubt it will hurt anything....I mean, it probably doesn't help, but I can't see how it is any worse than just accelerating hard.
