I just bought a 96 Banshee and i think its very peppy for a shee (hard to hold on some times) I was just wondering how much hp my shee has, I have no way of getting it on a dyno. Could someone approximate it for me?
It has:
FMF gold series pipes and silencers
re-jet
Perfectly synchronized carbs
t.o.r.s removed, (special caps added instead?)
some sort of carb or reed spacers
lightened fly wheel
milled head
pro-flo billet intake addapter
K&N
boost bottle
no air box lid
runnin on VP "c-4" race gas.... (what ever that crap is it smells funny)
there may be more mods done to engine but these ones i listed are what i can see for my self...
thanks

I will guestimate 45-50, but no one can really know without a dyno. And then it can be disputed for months on end with no one really ever agreeing that what the dyno says is correct.

stock is 34, with what you listed, you could be making 45-60 hp, all depends on how it was done and to what degrees it was all done and how well your jetted. See, you said the head is milled, but we have no idea what the compression is.

The guy also told me that i dont need to run the vp fuel i think he said it was called "c4" race gas (what is came with in the tank) ..he said if i use regular pump 91 octane i will not see a difference..is this true? he said its got the right compression to run both...is this logically correct...

Could be true, but how are we to know.
You need to get a compression guage and check it out.
You could try some premium, but if it pings better run the race gas. Sometimes, it is hard to hear detonation also.
