Just some info.

Yes it was a 2002 raptor. Yesterday I was at the dunes and met some people that had a Predator and a Raptor. The Raptor had starter trouble he called the shop and they said that he could pull start it. He was doing that most of the day when it died or he killed it untill about 2:00 when it blew oil all over him and there was about a quarter size hole in the top of his side case on the shifter side. He said that you could hear the starter spinning but it would not ingage. Maybe somthing came off of the starter and droped. This is all I know.

Sounds like his timing chain broke then bound up in the bottom end. What a bad day for him.
