Default 01 Raptor Still Not Right

After a lot of advice from you all here, we still are unable to get my friends 01 Raptor running like it used to.

The problem: When running down the river (ice of course) she has great power through third gear, once shifted into 4th, she starts to loose power, just doesn't seem to want to raise the r's as well. Hitting 5th is even worse, it just seems to bog down.

The bike setup: He is running a T-4 Pro Circuit Slip on pipe, K&N Air Filter with Outerware, 12 tooth sprocket. No needle movement or jets.

It seems like nothing is wrong until like I said, getting into the top end of 3rd and up. With the 12 tooth sprocket, he isn't even getting close to the top speed, and I would have thought it would be easier to get to the top speed with that sprocket vs origional one. We get it hot and checked the plug burn, and it was perfect, so it's not lean or rich. Compression is where it's susposed to be. If anyone with a Raptor has ran against a Predator, I walked by him with no problem at all, and I don't believe this should have happened. It feels like we would have to take it to the Datona 500 to get it up to top speed!!!!

Thanks for the help!!!

If he hasn't rejetted then that is the problem. Not getting enough gas on the top end.

Even with a perfect plug burn? I would think that richening it would harm the low end? Not sure. Any ideas where to start for the jetting? And is it true that there are 2 main jets on each carb? Thanks.

Sounds like it's running lean, what jets you got in it?

No, theres only one main jet in each carb. Richening it wont hurt the low end. I'd say put 150 and 155 in to start.

Jets are stock, needle is in stock location. Plug burn is perfect.

You need to jet up. goto 155 150 first and see how it runs.

You cannot go on plug alone, I agree with the others, it sounds lean to me.
