OH, you guys crack me up. Alot of this arguing depends on rider weight, and whether you are talking flats or hills. I have owned a raptor, and a ds 650 and I now have two banshees.

I can tell you that stock for stock the ds was the fastest of the bunch, then the raptor, then the banshee, however mod for mod the shee is faster. With about $1000 into the banshee and $600-700 into both the ds and the raptor the banshee will smoke them up a hill. On the flats it is much closer, but the shee usually still pulls away.

On the shee I am talking coolhead with 18cc domes, pipes (one with t5 and the other with cpi), carb mount filters, and jetted correctly of course.

That is the honest truth. Sometimes the ds would pull the banshee, other times it would not. However all these machines are close, and the banshee can usually pull the 4 strokes in most races. And with $2000 into a banshee it will most likely not be even close.

There, are you happy I said it..........

Awww...now your talking...But lemme disagree here a stock Raptor wont be beat by anything else but a Turbo Banshee or a 500cc one running on alky and even then it would be real close...Would be a rider thing you know...Those Rappys are something else...

Yeah I'm going to have to agree with this one.. You'd have to put at LEAST $2000 into a banshee to keep up with a STOCK raptor, MABE if you got one of those 500cc powervalve kits w/nitrous you'd have a snowball's chance in h#ll, but I doubt it.

I haven't been beaten by a shee yet........I have raced them stock all they way up to pipes, power reeds(?), jets, and filters............

Beat the stock ones bad..........and beat the one with reads pipes etc...... by only 6 lengths....

I'm not kidding either.........I think that piped shee needed some tuning........
I don't think I should have beaten him that bad.....honestly............
