Raptor exhaust Yoshi or MBRP?
#1
Any thoughts on which complete exhaust system is better for a Raptor, the Yoshi comp or the MBRP. I will replace the stock air filter, but that is all I will be doing to the bike in the near future.

Yes, noise is an issue here, is the Yoshi substantially louder than the MBRP? I have heard some REALLY loud systems over there, not sure what they were, but they seemed like they shook the ground they were so loud.

The yoshi is louder than the MBRP. The MBRP is the quietest I've heard so far. I just bought the slip on for my Blue stock Raptor. Its very quiet at idle but gets louder upon excelleration. Still quieter than any I've heard. Some friends have Yoshi full systems on their Raptors, although not obnoxiously loud it is louder than the MBRP. I've never seen or heard the LRD. My Alba pipe is very quiet at idle but gets pretty loud at higher RPMS.

LRD is quiter then Yoshi and I think it might be a just a little louder then MBRP.
Why don't you give a call LRD and find out what the db rating. When I got mine it was alot quiter then E-serie along with the silencer core. I think the db rating of the LRD pipe around 94 or 95.

Never used an MBRP pipe but I've heard good. I own a full Yoshi system and love it! I think it's very quiet compaired to all the others. I used to have an E-Series and it was very loud but a good pipe. I'm getting more HP from the Yoshi though. I'd go with Yoshi because I like the fit and finish better and the pipes are close to the same decibel levels. You'll be getting about the same HP numbers from both.
