I have a bunch of assorted firearms, and I know of that new S&W of which you speak [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img] . My brother is seriously looking at one, but there is a different .50 cal that I am buying before that pistol-- a Marlin 1895G that has been modified to fire a .50 Alaskan (Wild West Guns . com). OOoooh baby!!!!

I still want to build a silenced .300 Whisper, too. That way I can drop my yearly limit of deer (5) all at once, without the whole herd spooking... heheheheh. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]

 

I can already see alaska coming home from his first day of hunting with a deer in his front seat, 2 in the back seat, one on the roof, and one on the hood. lol

 

You only have to have an FFL (federal firearms license) to get some of them through the mail order. None are illegal to own and there is no limit to how many you can have. And yeah, I really do own all of them. (I also have my FFL)

You can really buy an SKS with a grenade launcher. They are around $135. You shoot a blank through the gun with some mods to the gas chamber and it shoves the grenade out.

Tom, you know potato guns are more illegal than anything I just mentioned. "My friend" has one that is powered by Aqua net and spray starch mix. Compressed air, propane, and acetelene/oxy mix are some other combinations "my friend" has played with. Yours looks to be a good size. "My friends" is 2 1/4" ID pipe with a 7" ID chamber.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

The bad think is when the aliens come, I want to be at my buddy's house. He has a walk in closest that is lined with guns. Every corner in his house has a gun sitting in it. He has 3 9mm's sitting in his nightstand for protection. All three are loaded.
