I found a box of blasting caps when I was 16. We hooked some stereo wire up to them and floated the box out into a pond then connected the wire to my buddies car battery. We were lucky to see 17. We got peppered with little pieces of brass. This is not recommended. We did catch a lot of fish though. All you had to do is wade out and pick them up.
