HELP!

Default HELP!

ok i think i may have some jetting problems. not for sure just yet. i have a pro circuit t-4 slip on and that is my only mod so far
not sure of my elevation (i live in DuQuoin Illinois which is in the southern end of the state) but neways i have 145 150 jetting and im not sure what the mixture screws are tuned to the local atv mechanic adjusted them while i had the carbs off the bike (said he knew where to set them) but it feels like there is a load on the bike at lower to mid rpms it doesnt cut out or nething just feels like there is a load on the bike i didnt notice it before i changed the pipe maybe because i only rode the bike one time but nehelp from you guys would be much appreciated

I have no clue. Just that slip on shouldnt change the jetting much. Do you have any mods to your airbox?

nope the bike is ABSOLUTELY STOCK except for the slip on t-4 pipe

Default HELP!

Does is smell rich on fuel or feel like it is loading up.

I would turn the screws all the way in (careful not to over tighten when they bottom out) and then back out 2.5 turns and see if it changes anything?

A flexible carb screwdriver works good for this. Discount, Advance, Autozone, etc... has them in the tool section.

Try taking your airbox lid off and see what happens. If you're rich that will lean it out, wont it??

Just don't ride it like that, because the air filter won't seal.

well the riding i do it is impossible to ride without airbox lid or with holes in airbox
what would happen is i brought my needles up one position?
it may just be the cold weather we are having also im not sure

That would richen the trottle from 1/4 to about 3/4 of the way. Is it possible that now that you have a pipe that you can hear You think it has a load on it? Is it possible that you used to have a 2 stroke ?

yes i did have a 2stroke before this a polaris 400 scrambler 4x4 and it was a POS (not bashin goin from experience)
it is possible that im thinkin it has a load on it
ill have my brother ride it and see what he thinks
