Trirap that test was a JOKE I have tried 6 full pipe systems FIRST hand and Sparks is by far the BEST all around pipe system out there..Don't just believe what the mag tell you they say what they get PAID to say!!!!!!! I would rather hear from people who have tried something then what the mags said

Does anyone really believe just adding a Ct pipe will give you 48.6 HP or an Alba 46.1????? I don't think so!!!!
There are engine kits with cams & pistons that only give 50!!!

I put my quad on an automotive dyno & got 43.1 HP with a Sparks X6. & my a$$ dyno confirmed it.
That was with a Dynojet kit, trimmed snorkle & no lid. with the lid on & 5~1" Univents it was 42.1 but without the turbulance of no lid.
If I remember right DW didn't even trim the snorkle on some of there tests & some ran with the lid on & some with it off!!
I lost a bit of low end but have a much better mid range & it pulls out on the top great.

 

Moose at FSWs I seen higher dyno runs with the Sparks with NO LID so that why I ran mine..

 

My "big bore" mbrp will spank them all!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

I will stick with my Alba I can not justify spending $500 dollars on another pipe that gives you an extra tenth of hrs pwr, but if i had a stock pipe then i could...just my .02[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-confused.gif[/img]

 

You are on the money Holeshot. Any aftermarket pipe is better than staying stock. I honestly do not feel the top 10 pipes are much different in the HP they produce. The quailty is what sets them apart from one another. I know that i would not trow one pipe away to buy another 500 dollar one.

 

I think the top ten pipe out there differ from the people that do different think or type of riding. I have has 6 pipe systems and they ALL put power in DIFFERENT areas of the power band some low to mid some mid to top and some GREAT all around like the Sparks X-6. I hve not tried the MRBP but its full bore could not beat the Sparks on a stock and then moded motor the full bore is made for a BUILT motor only RIGHT Mark (14mins)

 

Hey Pat, not trying to start anything, but dang you talk about the sparks pipe like it was made of gold. Like you are a representative or something for the company. Didnt seem like that long ago you were pushing the DMC alien, saying it gave the most power out of the 100 pipes youve owned. Again Im not trying to upset you in the least, but your posts are very convincing that I should throw my yoshi over the hill.
