No not really. You have to take into consideration that your Wolverine weighs about 485 lbs I think? You have 4X4 which pulls some more power. In comparison to a Warrior the warrior has a chain, weighs 397 lbs?, and your running 2WD. So ofcourse your Wolverine is gonna spend some time eating dust. Even with mods I dont think this could happen. I had seen some project Wolverine in DirtWheels a long time ago. They hopped their Wolverine up to a 500 and slipped in a manual clutch. Maybe if you kept your stock tires on and did this it may have a chance? But for the price is cost you could just go out and spend an extra 1,000 bucks on top of the cost of the mods and just buy a Warrior. I dunno this is just my opinion but I really doubt you can make a 4X4 faster than a straight sport quad.

I have beat 88 Warrior with my 99 Wolverine. My Wolverine is bone stock. Wolverine can blow Big Bear 2wd easy. My cousin has big bear 2wd and I am always beating him. One time I raced with 00 Blaster and beat him! But it's about .1 mph faster it will take me 15 mins to get completly pass. But I was really suprise my Wolverine is fast machine. I never add anything only new bearing and lightblubs that's all. I am really happy now. But My buddy got 00 400ex now I have a problem He keeps blowing me away. Sooo...Is the Wolverine 500 from the Four-Stroke Tech faster than stock 400ex? Please be true. But it's pretty $$$ a lot. So I better wait for new Suzuki or Yamaha sport quad.
Thanks
