WOW, haven't put much thought in this have you?LOL

I know HMF does anodized cans on their mufflers. I am sure they would have black. Also I think any of the carbon fiber cans would look good with that scheme too, Yoshi and GYT-R have those. You should be able to powder coat any of the cans black though.

LoL, yeah Ward660R- I'm planning on designing custom Mustangs as a career, so why not start with 4-wheelers?? And, No doubt i LOVE carbon fiber, but i still think those pipes have too much stainless on them and the carbon fiber is too shiney. I want something totally jet black. I might have to do it myself again... but, of course, im that kinda guy!

docdave22- Yes, I'll be interested in selling the stock fenders after im through, so i'll get back to you when i am...

**Oh, as a side note- EVERY nut and bolt on the entire Rappy will be painted black... I think it will look very good with a white frame... Oh, and does anyone know anything about painting axles and if you should or shouldnt do it? I think it would be hot to have a black axle on a white swingarm.**

How much does powdercoating cost? And is it THAT much better than a really well done paintjob with multiple coats of paint and multiple coats of clearcoat?

You can probably get your frame coated for 225 and yes powdercoating is alot better than paint IMO swingarm is about 50 a arms probably another 50 so I would definetly look into powdercoating first hope this helps.

Thanks,

If those are costs of the powdercoating, then ill probably end up running around 400 with all the other little stuff getting done. I wonder if i can find somewhere locally that does it... and if they will give me a package deal or something... because 400 and up is gettin pretty expensive for just coloring the frame, but hey, if its better, what can i say? You get what you pay for. Does anyone know like what kind of companies i can look into that will have powdercoating equipment? Because i bet i can get a better deal at some place other than a cycle shop.

Check around at your local body shops they may have the equipment or will know someone who does...
