How was Glamis Mitch?
Great!!!! I commented in the Dumont post.

The manual says 2.06 qts. w/filter change and that's what it's allways taken to fill mine back up.But I have never tried taking that plug out of the end of the cam when draining it either. The manual says the total amount is 2.43 qts. can I drain that other .3? out by removing that plug you think?

Don't know. I've never removed the cam drain bolt when changing my oil. I just loosen it to make sure I have circulation after the oil change. Mine has always taken 2 1/4 + quarts for an oil change.

If you want one we have a link to a downloadable (PDF) Raptor manual in the Yamaha forum on the compound.
These are real handy, I have the regular manual & the PDF on CD, I use the CD to copy the pages I need to take in the shop so my expensive factory manual doesn't get greasy.

Go to Yamaha, then the Raptor forum, it's pinned at the top.

Moose. I appologise. I must be butt fu??ing stupid or blind. All I see is two topics under important topics pinned at the top.

1. Chamber work on heads
2. Trinity head work???

I've read through both of these topics and I can't find it.
