Which size sand tire
Wyo, the guys over at planet sand think I should stick with an 8 paddle. They say a 10 will be over paddled even with more power.
I might just get some of the 8's and try them out, I can always put them on the other banshee and sell my other set or something.
Who knows, I will think it over some more.
Thanks for the repllies guys

Yeah, I have 20x10x10 9 paddle extreme haulers on both my ds and my other banshee and they seem to work great for the hills. I have not run a 22 yet, so I was not sure how many paddles for the taller tire.
I would think a 10 or 9 would work great. I dont flat drag, just hills and all around duning.
I guess once in a great while we race accross some flats, but not normally.

i run the standard hauler on both my ds's, the 20" tires work good for most things on them, but i got a new set of 22" 10 paddle, for mine and it has a piston and cams and it pulls those tires fine, the 9 might have been better but they didn't have them in stock so i went with them, anyway i know i don't have anywhere close to 70 horse so i think the 10 would be fine, well good luck. and if they don't work on the banshee put them on the ds and re gear to 15-43 and surprise some of you banshee buddies it works for us.

I guess you are saying the 10 paddle would be better?

Thanks

Oh, and where to buy some would be great also. rocky mtn only sell the 22x11x8 in 7 or 8 paddle.

My current set of paddles are 22x10x10 10 paddle. Im going to run a 21 inch tire with 9 paddles next time. The only reason I went with 22's initially is to get some ground clearance for Walden, Co. You need some clearance to climb out of some of those hills.
Anyhoo. Thats why I am going to do..

Roost, thanks for your input.
I am thinking about a 21x12x8 9 paddle now. I kind of want to buy from rocky mtn, because of their prices and I have a $50 gift certificate thing. Which helps convince the wife I need these. lol
I also like the extreme hauler better, becuase of my size and sometimes having to run over hardpack.
comparing a 22x11x8 to a 21x12x8, which do you guys think would be better.
It all gets pretty darn confusing sometimes.
Thanks for all the input
