I can't wait to go back to silver lake, especially after I get paddle tires.

If you can, make your truck dune ready, load the quad in the bed, and just park on the beach. You'll never have to wait in line.

 

We can only get one quad in the back of the truck so we have to park with the trailor. Although I have seen some people get pretty creative and haul three quads in on a truck. I wish I would have had a picture of it. My first experience at Silver Lake, I ended up pushing my bike into the park because we had to park across the road. The bike weighs more than me and here I am trying to push it. Finally, I just started it up and walked it in.

 

Well Turbo.............not exactly. She wants a Kawie V-Force 700 twin. That is a bigger snowmobile on wheels.

I just bought Rhonda some Hauler Sand Tires for her Scrambler X. She will be really surprised at how much better her quad will handle over her stock 489's. She probably won't want a new quad. I am up for some dune shreddin'!! I live about 3 hours away. I can make it there anytime. I am getting a cabin up there over the 4th of July week. It is supposed to be pretty insane on 4th of July weekend. Just let me know when any of you will be there, and unless I have a GNCC race, I will try to make it. Plus I want to see the GOLD! You will be riding the masterpiece, won't you Turbo33?

i will be there from april 11-13, staying at the sierra sands hotel right at the dunes, decided to go the weekend after, probably alot less traffic

 

I'm going to try to bring both of them.
Any of you guys that want to bring a friend,I have a Warrior someone could borrow.
I even have extra sand tires and rims if you need to borrow them as well.

 

There is this great little pizza place there that is an arcade and bakery. They have great pizza and donuts. Everything is homemade and reasonably priced. It is just down the road from your hotel. I have stayed at Sierra Sands twice and the Best Western twice. The other times we went we stayed about an hour away in Whitehall. The hotels were cheaper and there were more restaurants to choose from. But, when you stay close you can just get up and ride. In April you will have the run of the place. They don't get busy until after Memorial Day.

 

Does anyone want to volunteer to create a "silver lake sand dunes" Yahoo-group? I've got enough other websites, otherwise I'd do it.
