I was told the other day that the camo on the 03 Kodiak 450 camo flakes off after a short time.I think the dealer was just telling me that , all he had in stock was only green one.I was wondering if anyone has this problem.

 

the camo can't come off it's made into the plastic just like the other colors...i want the stuff your dealer has in his stash!

 

he is just trying to get rid of his floor model
i think the camo would look better after a couple of trips through the woods
i had a green one and it showed every scratch

 

I dont know. I see some of the 650 P's camo flaking off. Is Yamaha doing it different than Kawi?

 

on my 03 wetlands grizzly and every other camo yamaha i've seen, it doesn't flake off but if you rub something hard or scratch it it just shows black underneath. i've never seen it flake off. my dad has a green kodi and let me tell you it looks like dogsh!t compared to mine. get the camo.

 

I scratched mine pretty good in several spots too. Still shows camo.

 

The camo DOES flake off IF you hit something. I brushed a tree with my 450's front fender. The next day when I hosed it off I noticed several quarter sized spots where the camo came off showing black plastic underneath. No real big deal to me as its not that noticable.
