SCORE, Check this out
Bought a set of Yellow fullbore plastic, brand new for $400.00(saving about $150.00)! read the book!
I was down at my engine builders today and a guy with a banshee had some yellow full bore on it and I commented that yellow looks pretty good. Well I go inside to buy some stuff and as im checking out, a friend of the shop owner walks in and tells him that some shop is going out of business, everything goes at dealer cost.. Im like "where", but she wont tell me, fearing it would deter me from buying what I was about to buy. i told her it wouldnt, but she still would not tell me. Whatever... Then she calls the shop, hangs up and goes to the back for something. I finish paying, then ask to use the phone.. You got it, i hit redial, get the digits and jam!!!(the counter guy told me I was effed up for doing that. I figure I spent over 5000 in that shop i can spend some elsewhere) Make the call on the cell and Im there 10 minutes later..
Now heres the SCORE part(although I thought i did pretty good with the redial!) They had some brand new YELLOW fullbore on the wall!!! I ask what they want for it, he told me $400, i said SOLD!!! I was trippin that I just got done commenting on the Yellow fullbore at my shop, and here is a set on the cheap!!!
I dont think I will run it just yet, might get some graphics painted first, but I will get some pics up!!!

good deal! its amazeing the profit these shops are makeing off parts. but what do you do, i guess you find a shop that works with you, cuts you some slack on cost and stick with them.
if you spent 5000.00 what have you got, 3500.00 in parts. oh well, the price of haveing fun.

Ok, so if I were to relate to this, it would be like a women's clothing store going out of business and I could go there and buy the $500.00 purse I wanted for $50.00. I can see now why you all are so excited about this purchase. I bet you guys didn't know there where purses out there that cost as much as parts for your bikes? I get a 15% discount at my quad store because we have spent over 30,000 bucks there and our friend has spent over 10,000 and my dad bought 10 mules from the place for the company he works for. So they Give us discounts on stuff now.
