Raptor problem

Default Raptor problem

what wires and what switch would be bad to make the starter do that?

mine tried to start on its own once, it was a bad relay. Luckily I was home.

warrior007 what relay was it because that might be the same thing that this raptor is doing

Adjust your clutch freeplay. When you pull in the clutch there should be a 1/8" - 1/4" gap between the lever and perch before you feel resistance. This will ensure the clutch is engaged all the way when riding. If there is no free play your clutch would be slipping because the clutch springs are not putting max pressure on the clutch plates etc.

Part number 28 on this fiche

Mine is a 2001, make sure they are the same if his is a diff year

i was thinkin maybe it might be the cooling fan? i had a cooling fan on my polaris go bad and it sounded kinda like a starter. this would kinda make sense seein as it did this once it was hot and then you started it again cold and nothing happened.
just a guess thought if im wroung you guys can call me dumb.
