web cam classifies their cams as stage 2?? I though they were like 737/737 grind or whatever. But aftermarket cams will never be as quiet as the stock one, maybe you can make them a little tighter but you have the chance of burning a valve.l

It is going to be louder than before because of the taller lobes...........I can't tell you how loud without actually hearing it.

Just be sure that you are at TDC when you make your valve adjustment. Also, did you do a CAM break-in??

Yes I did the CAM BREAKIN - Keeping the quad over 3000 RPM's for the 1st 15 minutes of running it, I just did half throttle for 15 minutes then did the engine beakin because everything in the quad had been swapped just about.

I adjust my valves slightly snug with that cam to get rid of much of that noise. Don't over tighten and if you do snug them up you need to check them more frequently.

By leaving the valves loose you are loosing potential valve lift, which is why you got the cam in the first place. And it sounds like crap!
