Default To cut...or not to cut?

I have a 03 Raptor and I am flustered concerning the front fenders. Should I cut the only 8 month old fenders or just leave them? I have started racing mx and I have noticed a parachuting affect when I come off a jump. I know to some this ain't a big deal but when ya pour every cent into one it's hard to give her a haircut.

Unless you regularly ride wet/muddy trails, CUT IT! Even the full stock fenders aren't that good in wet conditions, so there can't be that much difference. Some people pay money for race-cut fenders, you can do it yourself for free, and it may give you a little more top speed. Good Luck!

Save the stockers!!! buy some aftermarket and cut those. the aftermarket never fit as well as stock. and with aftermarket you get one piece front ends and not serveral like yamaha stockers.

I would cut them. Just be aware that you will need to replace the the headlights if you do.

Good Luck!

Why would I need to replace the headlights?
I pulled her off the trailer and stared at those fenders for about an hour.....I am such a puss, I didn't do it.......yet.

You don't have to replace your headlights, but once you cut your fenders the headlights just don't look good anymore. You'll see. You would be best doing what 66oDisturbed(check out his pics) and myself did or going with the handlebar mount from TrailTech.

Remember, just my opinion.

Good Luck.
