Default Rust on Cable

Whats up with the spring looking heat shields on the reverse and rear brake cables as they pass by the head pipe. Mine have started to rust and I was wondering if their are any stainless ones out there. I wash my bike and like to keep it looking NEW and the rust has to go.

What suggestions may some of you have for this and has anyone else had this problem.

Default Rust on Cable

I have had my raptor for 9 months. I just noticed mine starting to rust. I seen one at the dealer that was extremely rusty. I was going to try spraying with wd-40 and clean with a rag to see if that took any of the rust off. I have not looked for any stainless ones so if you or any one else find some keep us posted
Thanks
