No contamination in oil, but I have visible fluid gathering at the base of the bead. Anyone had this problem?

Yep, but mine was more than just gathering fluid, it made a BIG mess. The entire clutch side of mine blew. I had just fixed it Thursday, then Sat the tranny and one way went.

Are you sure its the gasket and not the llittle oil line in the case? They would be easily confused.

My raptor is the same, not a whole lot but you can tell cause its a little damp and dust collects there. My warrior was the same

Thanks for the replies guys. My leak is coming from around the rear of the head, and partially on the clutch pack side as well. You guys have no oil contamination at this point? Oil will get milky quick if coolant is introduced. THats my main concern. I can't believe it's leaking....I may just wait until the rod blows before digging back in....LOL.

I thought you were talking about the base gasket, if its the head gasket it will contaminate the oil pretty quick, antifreeze is really bad for cranks.

if it really is the base gasket there isnt really much to worry about, theres no water jackets or anything, just so long as your oil isnt pouring out.
