Hey Guys, I'll be there (Silver Lake) on May 23, 24 & 25th with my wife and a couple friends of ours. So watch for us, we will be riding the following:

Hey RaptorRacer-- Now I know who you are. I was the one with the BGSU sweatshirt on down by the lake when you were down there talking to us. I had the yellow 400ex. Pretty nice day on Sunday, huh?

RhondaV/GregV-- never did get a chance to look for you all. I was looking at the pics of some of your friends. you guys good friends with Quinn?

 

I kept walking around looking for someone from your county on the plate since I had a lot of time on my hands. Did you guys have fun??? We want to go again in May once my quad is fixed. RR1 races so we would like to catch a few of his events. Quinn and my husband have been friends for quite awhile. He is a good guy. We live about 20 minutes away from each other.

 

Oh yea, I had fun!! I love that place. That's too bad you didn't get a chance to ride much. Our group may try and get up there in September again, but if it was up to me, I would like to head back in May too!

Did you find our vehicles? There should ahve been three trucks there with Wood County plates, county number 87 on the new plates. Where did you all park?

I met Quinn in 2001 at the races in Orrville. He does have a nice set up!

 

We parked at the front of the entrance. I don't know if I care for how they had it set up this time though. I enjoy riding the long trail up to that first dune. I think it is temporary right??? I have never had to wait 20 minutes in line to actually get into the dunes. But, it was nice to meet a few people from this forum. Let us know when you go in September. How from is from BowlingGreen? We have about a 4 hour drive. Bowling Green is about 2 hours from where we are.

 

We parked towards the back. Not sure why they had it set up the way they did though. Seems there were alot of people getting stuck on the way in, especially the trucks.

I will let you know when we plan the next trip. Should be August or September. Maybe we can meet up then?

The drive up there took us about 5 hours, only because we had a large convoy of quads. On the way back, it only took us 4 hours. I don't mind the drive at all.

Sometimes we head over to the demo derbys in Hicksville. We have quite a few friends who run in them each year. Oh yea, I hear that Quinn was up at Honda East last night. I had a buddy up there and he mentioned to me this morning that he saw the "outta control" Raptor guy.
