stop making raptors?

badwarrior I understand what your saying but if someone wants to upgrade instead of detune it then the would have to do the same thing maybe even more. I dont wanna start any flames but there some riders on here that dont race and just free ride.

if yammy steps up and makes a 450 LC 4 stroker that sit lower than a rappy. i'll have one of the first ones made. no doubt. i'll keep my raptor, because it won't be worth anything if they do make a new quad.

Scooty,
If you want something for freeriding, why would you buy a 450 rather than a 660 or 700 or 350 2-stroke?
Of course yamaha or honda will make their new quad fit the AMA regulations. But by the time the quads comes out, AMA will probably have raised their limit to 450cc. Therefore I expect Yamaha and Honda to come out with a 450 powered race quad in the next 18 months. Quad racing is getting so popular that they would be losing out on lots of sales if they miss the boat.

if they use the straight up 450, it will be very very weird. 4 gears? im not liking that too much. rags said it was still awesome, but i cant stand it only having 5. if they changed the tranny to a 6 or 5, now that would rule!
