Default Need 400 Big Bear help

My Ridin buddy has a 2000 400 Big Bear 4x2. It is all stock nothing at all. No problems when the original tires are on but when when we go to the "good" trails...he puts on a set of 26 inch or could be 27" tires already mounted on wheels, (for ease). Problem is when bike is in reverse, it makes a jumping type of movement. It happens only in reverse and only with the bigger tires. Is something wrong? We can only tell that its coming from the rear end. kinda hopping. well thanks for the reply asap as we are heddin to Highpoint this wknd and would like to be able to use big tires. Default Need 400 Big Bear help

...oops

its to do with the traction. like if the footing the machine has keeps slipping. it does the same thing if you try to pull a big log, truck, etc. and the ground doesnt provide enough traction. My old Suzuki Quad Runner did it occaisonally but my big bear does it pretty often. I think it has something to do with the center of gravity being a little high.
