I just saw spy photos of Yamaha's new quad. Of course from what they see it is anywhere from 400-700cc. They are building something that will beat the ds650. this isn't the quad that i want to see. i want to see a yzf426 or 400 quad. which would you want?

I would like to see a 500 or larger 2 stoke twin with a beefed up lower end and a keyed crank that doesnt have to be welded. An advanced single carb intake system with K and N filter from the factory. Variable exhuast valve. Easy chain adjustment.

You know that Yamaha won't drop the ball on the motor for this quad, but they really need to focus on a good racing setup. The thing that has kept the hondas ahead of them in all the shootouts for years was the handling and mx track stuff. If they can shoot out a quad that can handle with the 400ex, they will have the new king of the sports. Basically, just slap the 426 in a real good frame and look out big red!
