Well, I'm looking at doing the same thing with my Banshee. But I have no clue what it will amount to.However,I do know what the 400PV-B will amount to"80+HORSEPOWER" I know it cost more, but sometimes $$=HP

Do a search on the cannondale forum with trinity and porting before you send them anything...there seems to be some quality controll issues.

There are so many builders out there it would make your head spin. There are many other great companies other then trinity. I'd research your decision a little further.

I have a Trinity modified banshee. It has the 420 Long Rod, with Stage 3 porting, etc. It runs very well and has proven to be very rideable and reliable. The Trinity mods will be 3 years old this June. Almost 3 years on the same pistons and rings! There are a few others on this forum that can tell you how it runs.

One motor does not a builder make. Is it possible that Alaskas motor has something done wrong to it. Yes. The same can be said of anyother builder out there. Talk to the different shops and ask your own questions. What it there is a problem how is it handled. So on and so forth.

Remember that the only perfect person in recorded history was cruified for it.

Default Trinity Porting Stage 2 ?????

Ok Because alot of people put trinity down. I used to race motocross and at the time DMC was the only one to do kawie dirt bikes. So I went with them, But when I got my Cylinder back It had rough ports (sharp edges). I was only 15 at the time so I put it together and it broke the rings. I called DMC up and they said send it back and they will fix whatever is needed to be done. Basically I guess no one is perfect. I guess I'll give them a try. I now no what to to look for. Anyone else??? Thanks to all for helping....

id personally go to K&T or Rudy Kurtz. They have been in the game for a huge amount of time and they take care of their customers extremely well. They are shops more tailored to what you want, rather then a mass production type company, so service is more suited to what you want rather then a specific "stage 2" port job.
