Having some trouble with my Banshee. One of my cylinders keeps dropping off then it will backfire and runs off two again. I've tried changing plugs and I've had the problem even right after I put fresh plugs in. I'm thinking it might be electrical. Anybody else had a problem like this? I've had my Banshee since '97 and love it but I'm getting sick of dealing with this.

 

check to make sure your carbs are in-sync with each other. also check to make sure the little screw-on tip on your plugs is on tight. i use a little dab of loc-tite on mine.

We actually just had a problem like this with my freinds banshee, we replaced the plugs, coils, carbs, and finally found that it was the CDI box, We replaced that and it runs pefect now, try to find someone to trade you CDI's before you buy one to see if it is really the problem, hope this helps,

 

having the same problem. it fires fine on the right side but wont hardly do it on the left. if it does it doesnt last long. took the plugs out to check spark and it doesnt spark well on the left side. not great on the right but really weak on the left. it is a 97 also
